Como cada 16 de octubre, desde 2013, se celebra el Día Europeo sobre la concienciación ante el paro cardiaco, este año con el lema: "Una sociedad que salva vidas".

En España se producen anualmente más de 25.000 paradas cardiacas. El inicio de una reanimación cardiopulmonar de forma precoz, en los primeros 4 minutos, lograría mejorar la supervivencia de estos pacientes, que en el momento actual está en torno al 10%.

La secuencia de actuaciones que debemos realizar para mejorar la supervivencia en la parada cardiaca, que conocemos como "Cadena de Supervivencia", salva vidas.

Y cuantas más pesonas la conozcan, más seguros estamos.

Los profesionales del ASVAO creen firmemente en esto y por eso han organizado una jornada formativa para todos los ciudadanos que se han acercado a alguno de los dos puntos en los que se han realizado las clases prácticas.
