Valladolid, el Hospital Universitario Río Hortega, acoge nuevamente el principal congreso nacional de cirugía de la litiasis, un encuentro internacional que se celebra cada dos años y que reúne a los mayores expertos mundiales en el tratamiento de la litiasis.

Durante el evento se presentarán las últimas innovaciones tecnológicas en endourología, incluyendo ureteroscopios flexibles extrafinos, láseres de última generación capaces de pulverizar completamente la litiasis y vainas ureterales con sistemas de aspiración, que permiten retirar de forma eficaz los fragmentos y el polvo resultante tras la litotricia.

Gracias a estos avances, hoy en día es posible tratar la litiasis renal con técnicas cada vez más mínimamente invasivas, facilitando una recuperación mucho más rápida para el paciente y permitiendo que muchos procedimientos se realicen en régimen de CMA.
